UWODS is proud to host a variety of socials throughout the year! It’s a great way to keep our community connected, and to have a lot of fun. What drew many of us into debate is how tight-knit and supportive the community can be. There are many annual socials we have: Christmas socials, Thanksgiving socials, Murder Mysteries, and many others. We also have more spontaneous ones, especially where we meet up after a tournament weekend. Strong club culture is important to us and we work hard to keep it alive - even during COVID. What you see here is our Christmas social after the fierce in-house debate on whether or not Santa should start a Holy War, where the first speaker gave a 7 minute speech entirely through freestyle rap. We also have a custom UWODS beer pong table in the shot.
